The Lincoln Highway

Emmett Watson is 18 years old and has just completed his one-year sentence for involuntary manslaughter on a work farm. Emmett prepares to take his eight-year-old brother west for a fresh start with his parents gone and their land confiscated by the bank, until he discovers that two pals from the work farm in the car that took him home have quite different ideas for Emmett's future.
